Microbial Mock Community Sequencing
Cloudbreak™ chemistry performed metagenome sequencing (WGS) of MSA-1000, a microbial genome reference set. MSA-1000 is a complex mixture of pooled microbial isolate DNA samples that averages ~30–70% GC content.
Methods
The Element Elevate™ Enzymatic Library Preparation Kit prepared eight replicate sequencing libraries, each from 64 ng gDNA. The DNA was enzymatically sheared, ligated with Elevate unique dual indexes (UDIs) 081–088, and pooled equimolar. The AVITI™ System performed a 2 x 150 run, then Bases2Fastq generated the FASTQ files.
