Wilfred van IJcken, PhD Senior Technical Sales Specialist Element Biosciences |
Wilfred van IJcken is Senior Technical Sales Specialist at Element Biosciences, with expertise in genomics, sequencing, and cell biology. He previously led the Genomics Core Facility at Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam for over 20 years and co-founded Methylomics B.V., a startup developing methylation-based cancer biomarker technologies. Wilfred holds a PhD in Virology from Wageningen University and has published nearly 300 scientific papers.

Leonardo A. Meza-Zepeda is a leading expert in genomics, advanced sequencing technologies, and cancer biology. As Head of the Genomics Core Facility at the Institute for Cancer Research, he leads the NorSeq-Cancer node—a specialised node of Norway’s national infrastructure for high-throughput sequencing. Meza-Zepeda has played a pivotal role in introducing and establishing novel platforms to study cancer genome structure and dynamics, and pioneered the adoption of Element Biosciences' AVITI24 system in Norway.
